Aviation minister Ashok Gajapati Raju sparks a row with an explosive statement while speaking on airport security.

Addressing the meet, Raju said he is a heavy smoker and his matchboxes always got confiscated. But ever since he became minister he has stopped being frisked.

"Once I became minister of civil aviation, people stopped frisking me. I carry a matchbox with me when I fly. I dont know how a matchbox can become an explosive.

"We need to make security more meaningful and less obstructive," he said.
