September 28, 2014
After giving a rousing speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Global Citizen Festival in New York where he pitched for healthcare, clean water and sanitation for all. Modi said that he was happy to be in the open and not in a closed conference room. "I feel a current of hope in this park, I feel confident about the future of whole humanity. We want to lift poverty, make healthcare available to all, I know this is possible," he said.
