Eminent people should teach in schools once a week: Modi
September 05, 2014
Modi: Masterji used to be the village ideal. We need to highlight the importance of teachers.

Addressing the lack of toilets in schools, Modi says some schools have no toilets at all, while others have only toilets for boys.

In Japan, he says, he was told how teachers and students clean toilets in schools. "If that was to happen in India, it would cause a sensation. Why can't it be done?" he asks.

He asked that eminent people should co-opt with schools and teach once a week.
