ML Khattar takes oath as Haryana CM

Manohar Lal Khattar from the BJP takes the oath of chief minister in Haryana. Sixty-year-old Khattar is the first Punjabi to become the chief minister of the state. He will also be Haryana's first non Jat chief minister in 18 years. Khattar and his cabinet are taking the oath in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah. Chief ministers of other BJP-rules states such as Rajasthan and Gujarat are also present at the ceremony along with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
