Mohammedan Sporting, one of the oldest football clubs in India (founded in 1891), goes bankrupt and is shutting down. The decision to shut the Kolkata-based club was taken on Saturday. The club currently plays in the I-League and premier division of CFL. The players have not received salaries for three months.
