The assembly segment witnessed a contest between the two cousins Udayanraje Bhosale (BJP) and Shivendrasinh Bhosale battling out against each other on development issues to get into the state assembly. Shivendra is contesting the elections in the backdrop of the demise of his father Abhaysinhraje Bhosale, who was the sitting MLA.
