Angola, Malaysia, New Zealand, Venezuela elected to UN Council

Angola, Malaysia, New Zealand and Venezuela were elected to the UN Security Council today, leaving Turkey and Spain to face off in a second vote for the coveted seat. 

The four countries won the required two-thirds of votes during the election at the UN General Assembly.
