Speculations are rife in babudom that the Bharatiya Janata Party led government may soon make the mandatory age of retirement as 58 years. Insiders say that a 'golden handshake' scheme may be launched, in which once an employee retires, he or she gets a significant severance package and more insurance benefits from the government. All eyes are now on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's 2015 budget.
