Just in: A woman and a child have died in the aftermath of yesterday's clashes in Hisar. The two died in hospital this morning. Violent clashes broke out at godman Rampal's ashram in Haryana with police lobbing teargas shells and resorting to lathicharge to disperse his supporters who allegedly fired back at the police, leaving over 100 persons, including security and media personnel, injured.

TV reports this morning said that Rampals supporters were using women and children inside the ashram as human shields.
