Sri Sri Ravi Shankar tries to make the still absconding godman Rampal, see sense. Ravi Shankar says that he tried to talk to Rampal to drive some sense into him. "Leaders should not think they are above the law."

The Haryana police arrested Rampal's close aide Purshottam Das, who tried to escape from the ashram with other followers. 

The police has slapped sedition charges against Rampal and several of his followers while ruling out any negotiations with him.
