Italian officials to sue Costa Concordia bosses
November 18, 2014
Tuscany is demanding 30 million euros (Rs 232 crore) in compensation for the Costa Concordia disaster, saying that its image as a tourist heaven of sandy beaches, hilltop towns and cultural heritage has been badly damaged by the disaster.

The region, popular with generations of British tourists and second-home owners, was now indelibly associated with the "vulgarity" of Captain Francesco Schettino, the ship's captain.
