One phone call and 40 files are cleared
November 05, 2014
Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not mince words. He has been calling up senior union ministers and telling them to perform and perform quickly, we hear.

Modi also called a union minister and said that he had received reports that the said minister was neither attending office nor clearing files.

Within 120 minutes of the call, this is what happened:

1. The minister rushed to his office in CGO Complex.
2. A meeting of senior officials was called.
3. Forty files were cleared.

That's what a single phone call can do.
