"Our estimate was that BJP would get 250 seats. Huge anti-incumbency and the hope provided by Modi were huge factors in the BJP win. Local factors were responsible," says Jaitley.

Jaitley lost to Capt Amarinder Singh.  He says that the party and Narendra Modi will decide if he becomes a minister. And that he himself has not decided his role in the party.
