'I feel that Atal-ji's 'Andhera Chattega Kamal Khilega' is coming true'
May 16, 2014

Rajnath says that the massive win is a people's mandate for change. The results mark a new era in Indian politics.  "I feel that Atal ji's "Andhera Chattega Kamal Khilega" is coming true," says Rajnath Singh.

He thanks the 25 allies of the party, party workers, poll booth workers and congratulates other winners from other parties as well. He says the BJP did not win on a negative agenda.

The tone is humble, gracious in victory. At 12:30 pm, there will be a Central Parliamentary Committee meet at the party HQ in Delhi, says Rajnath.

Meanwhile, Ghulan Nabi Azad loses Udhampur seat to BJP's Dr Jitendra Singh.
