Meanwhile, in Delhi, former RJD leader Ramkripal Yadav is being formally welcomed into the BJP. Yadav had quit the RJD after he was denied a Lok Sabha ticket. Yadav says Modi has given the country a new direction. "I will work as a grassroots worker," he says and adds that Lalu put family above party a reference to Lalu's daughter Misa Bharti getting a ticket from Patliputra.
