Eight authors from seven countries are the recipients of this year's Windham Campbell Literature Prizes.
The winners will get $150,000 each to recognise their achievements and to support their work.
British author Jim Crace and Pankaj Mishra, author of From the Ruins of Empire, are among the winners.
