Hailstorm in Maharashtra destroys standing crops

Heavy rains accompanied by hailstorms had claimed lives of at least two people in Maharashtra. Hailstorms in Gherbi village in Solapur district also caused huge damage to property. Heavy rainfall has been reported in parts of Solapur, Sangli, Aurangabad, Beed, Latur, Parbhani and Nagpur. Standing crops were destroyed as a result of this hailstorm.
