BMC disconnects power supply at Campa Cola
June 23, 2014

After a face-off with BMC officials for three consecutive days, the residents of Campa Cola compound today allowed the utilities in the building to be disconnected. The BMC has finally disconnected power to all the illegal 102 flats.

For the last three days, the residents have been protesting against civic officials by shouting slogans and folding their hands in front of them. They had also closed the newly-fitted iron gates leading to the compound and fitted it with bamboo poles to prevent the civic body from entering the compound.
