Just in: The Supreme Court has agreed to hear Tarun Tejpal's bail plea on June 27 instead of July 7.

The SC had granted an interim bail for three weeks to the senior journalist on May 19 to attend his mother's funeral and perform her last rites. Tejpal is in a Goa jail since November 30, 2013.

Tejpal, 50, has been chargesheeted for allegedly raping, sexually harassing and outraging the modesty of a junior colleague during an event held at a hotel in Goa in November last year.
