China's Wang Yi meets Prime Minister Modi

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi ended his two-day visit to the Indian capital to build relations with the newly-elected Indian government on Monday.

He called on both India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday evening.

Talks between China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj have done much to boost ties between Beijing and the new government in New Delhi.India's Foreign Ministry said it was a "productive and substantive" step towards stronger relations, with all bilateral issues being discussed.
