Special aircraft with 46 Indian nurses takes off for Kochi
July 05, 2014
The special Air India flight carrying 46 Indian nurses and 137 others has taken off from Mumabi for Kochi.

The flight had made a 'technical halt' in Mumbai for refuelling and catering supplies.

The nurses were freed by Sunni militant group ISIS yesterday evening. The aircraft was initially denied permission to land. This could be due to an 'information deficit' or because of security concerns in the troubled region, said sources.
