Owing to the lack of rainfall, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is imposing a 20 per cent water cut in Mumbai. The cut will be effective from Wednesday night, said civic officials. The municipal commissioner Sitaram Kunte made a written statement before the civic Standing Committee and members too approved the cut.
