Chidambaram was booed and criticised for his remark   Senior leaders Veerappa Moily, Jairam Ramesh, Ghulam Nabi Azad, GK Vasan stoutly opposed his comment.   

"If such stoppage of funds were to be made known to the public the Congress will not win even one seat in Bangalore, said Moily.
