Congress's blood-sucking policies have hurt poor: BJP
January 23, 2014
Taking exception to Finance Minister P Chidambaram's reported comments that the BJP is following a "blood-eyed" economic model, senior party leader M Venkaiah Naidu today alleged that the UPA's "blood-sucking" policies had made the poor poorer.

"It is atrocious on the part of the finance minister to criticise the Opposition party on foreign soil. It is the Congress's 'blood sucking' economic model that pushed the country backwards.

"Mr finance minister (who spoke at WEF, Davos), let me remind you that it is your party which ruled the country for most of the time after independence. Because of your bloodsucking policies, the poor have become poorer and rich have become richer," he said.
