A suspect is being held after a shooting today at Berrendo Middle School in Roswell, New Mexico, according to the Roswell Police Department's Facebook page.

It wasn't immediately clear if anyone had been injured. The Facebook post by Roswell police said the school was placed on lockdown after the shooting.
