Congress MP Jagadambika Pal is set to join the BJP today. Pal had a meeting with Modi after which the decision was made. Considered close to be Rahul Gandhi, Pal was appointed chairman of Estimates Committee. Interestingly,  Pal was the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for three days from February 21 to 23, 1998.
