Assam: Militant carrying 5 lakh reward killed in encounter

An NDFB-S militant, carrying a reward of Rs five lakh on his head, was killed while another was injured in an encounter today at Balisang in Sonitpur district, police said.
According to Sonitpur Superintendent of Police Sanjukta Parasar, the slain terrorist has been identified as G Bigrai, on whom Rs five lakh was announced as reward by Assam police.
