Sources in the government tell us that the Telangana Bill will lapse since the government is not keen on a debate. A union minister, who did not wish to be named, said that the BJP has ditched the bill and reneged from its promise to support the Telangana Bill. The UPA wants the new government to take a decision on Telangana.
