One terrorist has been killed as the gunbattle in Kupwara ends.

Security forces launched an operation in the Bazpora area of Kupwara this morning following information about presence of militants there, a police official said.

The ultras opened firing on the security forces positions triggering a gunbattle after the latter retaliated, the official said.
