People should have the courage to say no to drugs: Modi

Modi added that the money spent on drugs is often used to fund terrorism and said, "Have you thought -- the bullet that has hit the soldier has the money of your drugs. We cannot help terrorists and drug mafia."

He said, "People should have the courage to say no to drugs and reject drugs. Tell your friends the same too."

The prime minister also asked celebrities, be it  sportsmen, film personalities, people from all walks of life to spread awareness on the issue. 

He also extended his congratulations to the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for overcoming all their struggles and defeating the strong Mumbai side.
