Indo-Pak flag meet ends amid ceasefire violations
August 27, 2014

The flag meet between India and Pakistan has ended. Rakesh Sharma, IG BSF, says it has been decided in the flag meet that both countries will take talks forward.

The sector commander-level flag meeting between India and Pakistan began today, a day after New Delhi lodged a severe protest with the hostile neighbour over escalating tension due to repeated ceasefire violations by its troops along the international border.

According to reports, the meeting is being held at Nikowal Border Outpost (BOP) in the Akhnoor sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
