Kejriwal demands Harshvardhan's head for sacking AIIMS officer
August 22, 2014
Arvind Kejriwal at the presser which is being held right now, demands that AIIMS chief vigilance Sanjiv Chaturvedi be reinstated and the matter be probed by the CBI. Dr Harsh Vardhan must resign or he should be dismissed, he says.
Yesterday, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan defended the removal of
Chaturvedi saying he was "not
eligible" for the post. "He was not at all eligible for the post
that he was holding at AIIMS. We were informed that without the approval
of the Central Vigilance Commission, nobody can be assigned the post of
CVO anywhere."
