BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi casts his ballot from Gujarat's Gandhinagar constituency.

Addressing a press conference, he said, "Election is a celebration of democracy. Vote and strengthen our democracy. Everyone must vote."

He apologised for giving less time to Gujarat. "I have given only 18 hours to Gujarat."

He said, "I am confident that the mother-son govt has been ousted."
