Gangster-turned-politician and UP MLA Mukhtar Ansari has decided to back Congress' Ajay Rai in Varanasi. Ansari has decided that his Quami Ekta Dal will back the Congress candidate against BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.   Ansari has some support base in certain pockets of Varanasi.
