In Beijing, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh signs agreement on border defence. MoUs on water resources, power and development on Nalanda University also signed.

"The border agreement has been signed to increase communication to solve counter terrorism," said Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. He said he chose Indian as his first destination after assuming office.
