Protests continue in Andhra, children die in powerless hospitals

Nearly 4,000 children have died in hospitals across Andhra Pradesh due to the acute power shortage in the wake of the strike by employees of power plants in Seemandhra.
Authorities have implored these employees, who have gone on strike to protest the bifurcation of the state, to resume work as soon as possible.
