Tejpal likely to be arrested at Crime Branch office

A sessions court in Goa on Saturday rejected Tehelka founder-editor Tarun Tejpal's anticipatory bail petition in connection with the sexual assault case against him.
Tejpal is likely to be taken into custody at the Crime Branch office.
Goa police have not officially arrested Tejpal yet.
In case Tejpal is arrested today, he will be produced before a court on Monday, where the Crime Branch is expected to seek additional remand.
On Friday, the court had given the Tehelka editor interim protection till Saturday morning against arrest in the case of alleged sexual assault on a woman colleague during an event in Goa.
