Drug retailers to observe day-long strike tomorrow
May 09, 2013
An association of chemist and drug retailers today threatened to go on a day-long strike and shut down medical shops tomorrow against the "unjustified" policies of the government.

"We have decided to observe a day-long token strike against the unjustified policies of the government. However, medical shops at hospitals and nursing homes will remain open during the bandh so that emergency services are not hit and inconvenience is not caused to the general public," said Sandeep Nangia, president of The Retailers and Distributors Chemist Association.
