Mild quake hits Kashmir, north India

Mukhtar Ahmad reports from Srinagar: A mild earthquake shook Kashmir Valley on Wednesday morning, making panicky locals rush out of their homes.
State officials are trying to collect more data about the intensity of the earthquake.
No loss of life or damage to property has been reported, they said.
