IIM-A opposes umbrella body for IIMs

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has opposed the proposed legislation to bring all the IIMs under one umbrella body, saying it would curtail its autonomy.
"We have as a society opposed it, the faculty has opposed it and the Board of Governors has opposed it," Chairman of IIM-A Board of Governor A M Naik told newsmen.
