The Delhi police today startled a courtroom by claiming they had the elusive Dawood Ibrahim on tape, but the judge was unimpressed by the prosecution's attempt to link the mafia don to the spot-fixing case.

This is the first time that an Indian security agency has publicly claimed to have intercepted a phone conversation involving India's most-wanted terrorist, a Union home ministry official and a CBI officer separately told The Telegraph.
