Plan panel approves Rs 21,500 cr plan outlay for Odisha

The Planning Commission today approved a plan outlay of Rs 21,500 crore for Odisha for the current financial year 2013-14, up 24.6 per cent from the previous fiscal.
The plan size was finalised in a meeting between Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik.
The state had asked for a plan outlay of Rs 21,467 crore for 2013-14.
