The Juvenile Justice Board has deferred the verdict on the December 16 gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old medical student in New Delhi, to August 5. The board was to pass judgement on the juvenile, who was 17 at the time of the horrific assault, and has since turned 18 in custody.
