Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren wins floor test. The newly-appointed CM moved a vote of confidence motion in the state Assembly and won the floor test.

In the 82-member House, the JMM has 42 members backing the motion as the High Court yesterday dismissed a petition of JMM MLA Nalin Soren requesting for a stay on a non-bailable arrest warrant. The non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against him by the special vigilance court in connection with the seed scam that surfaced when he was a state minister between 2006 and 2008. More
