Seven Congress MPs from Telangana region have threatened to resign. The MPs said they will send their resignations to Congress president Sonia Gandhi Tuesday.  

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad had said on Sunday that decision on Telangana will be taken only after more consultations. The much-anticipated announcement has irked the pro-Telangana activists, who term it as 'betrayal'.
