Rajnath Singh was unanimously elected as the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party.  

Senior leaders of party, including former president Nitin Gadkari, leaders of opposition Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj among others, have all gathered at the party headquarters in the national capital to congratulate Rajnath Singh.
