In other news: Expressing grief over the Allahabad stampede, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said today that the priority of his government was to ensure the safety of devotees at the Kumbh Mela.  

Thirty-six devotees, retuning after taking holy dip at Maha Kumbh, were killed and many more injured at the Allahabad railway station in a stampede on February 10.  

The tragedy occurred at the railway station, as thousands of devotees arrived to catch trains to leave for their respective destinations, leading to chaos and stampede.
