Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will head to London this May. After his maiden speech in Delhi at the Shri Ram College of Commerce yesterday, this will be Modi's first foreign visit to the United Kingdom since he became CM in December.

Permission and clearances have to be given by the Prime Minister's Office for all chief ministers and insiders say that this process has been initiated with the PMO soon after Modi spent one hour with Dr Manmohan Singh at 7 Race Course Road yesterday.
