Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has been sending feelers to the NDA, but the BJP does not want to encourage him as they are confident of winning over three MPs from his father, Choudhary Charan Singh's territory. Ajit Singh may not contest the polls, but wants no hindrance to get his son elected to the Lok Sabha. His son, Jayant Choudhary is a Lok Sabha MP from Mathura constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
