Telangana protest: Hunger strike agitators taken to hospital

A tense situation occurred on the Andhra university campus today when police forcibly took student leaders, sitting on hunger strike against the bifurcation of the state, to hospital in view of their deteriorating health.   

The student JAC leaders have been on a hunger strike from June 30 at the Andhra University. The doctors who conducted medical check-up of students JAC leaders, including its convenors Lagudu Govnida and Arati Mahesh and few others, advised them to take medical care immediately as their sugar, BP and water levels were going down.
